An important role in the retention/adsorption mechanisms are both interactions between liquid phase components and adsorbent surface, effects connected with fluid flow through bed. Unfortunately, retention mechanism most adsorption systems (e.g. chromatography) is unknown further investigations needed. In this work, sorption of caffeine phenol as test substances various has been analyzed. Investigations were conducted using three adsorbents.
